Arsenal fans have taken to Twitter to voice their anger over the way in which Unai Emery managed the 1-1 draw with Brighton on Boxing Day, after some of the Spaniard’s decisions were called into question.

Emery decided to take off Mesut Ozil at half-time after a quiet first half, but then saw his side fail to make a real goalscoring chance once the German had left the pitch. Additionally, with the score at 1-1, Emery also took off Alexandre Lacazette with half-an-hour left on the clock as Arsenal chased a goal – very strange to say the least.

The former Paris Saint-Germain boss has been praised for his subs and game management previously in the current campaign, but he got it all wrong at the Amex against Chris Hughton’s Seagulls.
